Q: Why aren't there more origami tutorials on this website?
A: Well, truth be told, this site was never intended to be a Origami folding how-to site. I have added some origami tutorials just for fun, and to give context to certain origami objects mentioned in my articles. But, for the most part, the intent of this site is to explore design principles, with a focus in Asian influenced minimalism and the like.
If you do want some more origami tutorials though, here are some sites that I think have pretty stellar examples. :)

Q: Why did you name it Origami and Design?
A: Well, number one, I love how creative and simple origami is, so I wanted that sort of feeling in the title. And number two, it is a blog about design where I focus on a lot of Asian influences. Origami and Design had a nice ring to it, so I stuck with it.
Q: Who are you?
A: My name is Katelyn Pettit, I am a Web Design student at Brigham Young University - Idaho edition. I am emphasizing in design, and have had experience since highschool in graphic design and general art principles, so that adds up to about 7 years of art and design educational experience.
Q: What is your favorite design software?
A: I am a big fan of the Adobe Trinity: Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. They all work hand-in-hand for most of the projects I work on, so I like them all almost equally. (Photoshop, you know you are my favorite. ;)
Q: What is your quest?
A: To seek the Holy Grail... of design. I am a student, so as a student I am always learning and seeking new and better ways of doing things. This blog is not just a plethora of things I know, but also a journal of things I am discovering. I might even contradict myself somewhere later on as I learn newer and better processes and apply them to my work.
Q: What is your motto?
A: "Keep It Super Simple", or when I'm feeling frustrated... "Keep it Simple, Stupid." Yup, thats about it.
